Appendix 2817. Council to function as agency.

Pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 33200, the city council hereby declares itself to be the redevelopment agency of the city. The city council hereby finds and determines that the action of the city council declaring itself to be such agency shall serve the public interest and promote the public safety and welfare in an effective manner in that the city council is best able to serve the needs of the city exercising the powers granted under the Community Redevelopment Law.
